University of Alberta International Research Symposium & Completion Celebration

Congratulations to our MITACS Summer Interns Aarya Sumuk, Abdul Aleem Shaik Gadda, and Lakshya Chaplot on receiving their certificates from the University of Alberta to commemorate 3 months of their project work!

A special commendation to Aarya Sumuk for being the sole intern selected from the entire Faculty of Engineering to present her impressive 3-minute project. Her research focused on design and fabrication of an instrumented glove for gesture-based communication, with the goal of assisting individuals with special needs in their communication requirements and physical rehabilitation.
