Funding to quantify nervous damage - A "high-risk, high-reward" research

Dr. Hossein Rouhani will receive funding from the New Frontiers Research Fund, funded by Canada’s Tri-Council of granting agencies (NSERC, CIHR and SSHRC). He and his collaborators the will try to develop a system that can quantify neurological impairment in patients with spinal cord injuries. Dr. Arash Arami at the University of Waterloo, Dr. Chester Ho at the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta, and Dr. Kristin Musselman, at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute are his collaborators in this project.
