ABOUT ME:

I received my B.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran,Iran.

I joined the Neuromuscular Control and Biomechanics Lab in 2021 and currently, I am pursuing my M.Sc. in mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta.

SUPERVISORS:

PROJECTS

Amirkabir University of Technology

• Design and implementation of a pressure biofeedback module assisted with an android application for rehabilitation of muscles

During my B.Sc. thesis at Amirkabir University of Technology, I worked on creating a bio-feedback device for hand muscle rehabilitation. Using an air pressure sensor attached to a hand massage ball, I was able to successfully measure the pressure applied by the users and feedback the data using mobile games.

• Design and implementation of a smart accelerometer sensor-embedded rehabilitation ball to monitor the rehabilitation exercises of patients with multiple sclerosis

• Design and implementation of a robotic arm controlled by a glove using inertial measurement units (IMUs).

• Design and implementation of a LED dimmer system, compatible with the cell incubation systems for culturing microalgae

University of Alberta

I am currently working with motion-capture cameras to validate the results obtained by IMU systems and to perform motion reconstruction using IMUs.
