About Me

I am a 5th year undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Alberta. Over my term, I will be designing and prototyping a passive occupational exoskeleton to assist in trunk-forward lifting movements. Typically, these exoskeletons function through a spring loaded mechanism, which requires an input energy from a user to provide assistance later in a given movement. Our goal is to design a specialized mechanism to mitigate the effort required to store this spring energy, providing a better user experience overall.
